On 9月tember 11, 2025, students from Higley高中’s 法律和公共安全项目 led a heartfelt tribute to honor those who lost their lives in the tragic events of 9/11.

As part of the memorial, the school’s courtyard was transformed into a Field of Honor, where American flags were placed across the grass to represent individuals who were lost. 在国旗旁边，一面墙上的名字为反思和纪念提供了一个安静的空间，让学校社区停下来表达他们的敬意。

“We wanted to create this at our high school because our students were not born on or near this tragic event of 9/11,” said Jason Hall, Criminal Justice teacher. “So, we feel this is a great way to educate our youth of today and remind those that are older to never forget.”

为了加深理解，学生们还张贴了教育海报，上面有事件的时间表和历史照片，说明了当天的重要性和英雄主义。

The initiative was organized and led by students from the 法律和公共安全项目, with support and guidance from Hall. 他们的合作产生了强烈的记忆，不仅对受害者表示敬意，而且有助于培养新一代的认识和理解。 The project reflects the Higley高中的核心价值观， excellence, honor, and compassion.
